· An example of the ethnic diversity that has always made Brooklyn the great place it is. Brooklyn has been a borough of strong and diverse neighborhoods ( or little villages-if you wish) as far back as I remember. In part, its residents thrive on this diversity and gather strength to interact commercially and creatively with the greater city. Just look at all the writers, poets, painters, etc. thatv have and continue to call Brooklyn home. I’m sure the future for Brooklyn is going to be just as bright and even brighter than it was in my day growing up in the Midwood section.
