Sands Street Station

This elevated subway stop was situated near the entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s adjacent block had just what you would expect– the traditional cigar, magazine, and candy store. And, in addition, something a little different: a hotel with a very busy bar and grill. This may not be the name of the hotel but it was there.
